Food hygiene courses for catering and care staff
If you prepare, serve or handle food at work, our online food hygiene courses are a quick way to get trained and certified. They suit cafés, pubs, caterers, nurseries, schools and care settings, and new starters can begin straight away.
- Food Hygiene Level 1: for front-of-house, bar staff and kitchen porters

Some qualifications, such as the 12-hour Paediatric First Aid, include a practical assessment. With blended learning you complete the theory online, then join a shorter hands-on session with us in Milton Keynes or at your workplace. Less time away from work, and the same full certificate.

How long does a course take? It depends on the course. You can stop and start as often as you like, so you don’t need to do it in one sitting.
Can I do it on my phone? Yes. The courses work on phones, tablets and computers.
Does an online course count for a workplace first aider? A full Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work certificate needs a face-to-face practical element. Online courses are ideal for refreshers, awareness training and the theory part of blended courses. If you’re not sure which you need, ask us.
Do prices include VAT? Prices are set by ProTrainings, who sell the courses and add VAT at checkout. For example, a £24.95 course costs £29.94 including VAT.
Who do I pay? You pay securely online through ProTrainings, our online training partner, and get access to your course as soon as payment goes through.
